Vision at Rophe EyeCare is to be the office you and your family can rely on for all of your eye care and vision needs.

Protecting your precious eye health is important to us. There is more to an eye exam than vision correction. An annual eye exam at Rophe EyeCare is good for your health. It can detect glaucoma, cataract, stroke, headache associated with eye problems, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, macular degeneration, multiple sclerosis and retinal detachment. Early treatment prevent them from becoming serious.

Dr. Tony Tao, a board-certified optometric glaucoma specialist, received his Doctoral degree of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas. He has been trained clinically under world-known Cornea, Glaucoma, Retina and cataract surgeons at University of Texas Medical School Hospital in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Tao with his trained staff provide eye exam, contact lens exam (multifocal lenses, astigmatismatic lenses, keratoconus specialty lenses, medical treatment and minor surgery of the eyes including foreign body removal, pink eyes, itchy eyes, dry eyes, diabetic eyes, cataract eyes, glaucoma, eye injuries, vision loss, pre- and post-operative management of cataract surgery and Lasik surgery, clear lens replacement surgery (for over 40 eyes, correcting near vision), retinal detachment and macular degeneration. He is certified to provide Cornea Refractive Therapy (CRT) treatment that uses Paragon CRT contact lenses at night to stop myopic vision of all ages from worsening. In spare time he volunteers in local Optometric society and church to help people.
